  Good considering location and it's the only proper grocery store in Mammoth Lakes. Probably fine in the off season but in tourist season plan a lot of extra time to stand in line. Very high prices (to be expected for a monopoly in Mammoth) and driving to the Von's in Bishop won't save a lot of money. Very convenient location with a Von's/Starbucks location that also gets very busy.

  For a Safeway/Vons, this place was quite good. Big enough to offer lots of choices, low prices even though it's on the far side of the Sierras from most suppliers. Lots of parking, easy to find.

  During the course of our weeklong vacation we visited Vons several times to get supplies and food and they always had what we needed. They even did a great job keeping the shelves full right before a giant storm moved in.
