  Wow. I have never been treated so rudely by someone over the phone, and the person claimed they were the OWNER no less. We are in Mammoth with our best friends and their family (three children under 4 years old) so take out is very appealing/ necessary. On Friday, when we arrived, we looked up this place, saw the decent reviews and ordered take out, no problem, although it was a very busy night, the hostess was more than accommodating. Cut to Monday night, the huge crowds have left, and we decided to try the take out again. This time a man answered and said "We don't do take out". When I expressed my confusion as we had just had take out there a few days before, he said. "Didn't you hear me, we don't do take out". I asked again why there would be inconsistency between a couple of days and he replied in a very unkind manner, "I am the boss, I make the calls, I have been for 37 years, kitchen is too busy". I said, I understood, and asked when he may be able to take an order, maybe later in the evening? He replied like a total ass "Maybe Next Tuesday". I cannot believe someone with this rude manner of dealing with customers actually still has a business. I hope that anyone with a family who understands the challenges we were dealing with who reads this decides not to go to this restaurant and give this pompous human being their hard earned money. I understand they may have been too busy, but that response and the way it was delivered was unacceptable behavior.

  Nevado's is consistently putting out well balanced plates with great flavors. Their alcoholic drink prices can not be beat.
