  Knowledgeable staff and a great date spot. The food was underwhelming for the price. My meatloaf "53 Hot Brown" had good flavor but did not fill me up, I had to order fries after I finished it. My friend ordered the turkey burger, it came out cold and unappealing, went untouched by a very hungry girl. Cocktails were made to perfection.

  OMG. This place is fantastic. Truffle oil on the chips, egg on the burger, perfectly braised short ribs. 2ish I could give it 6 stars.

  This place was good, albeit a little hard to find. The big sign over what looked like a door was in fact not the front door, it was off to the left. Our waiter was a little inattentive, but the food turned out great. A little pricey, but if you are in Mammoth it's kind of expected.

  Blizzard conditions, most stores/restaurant's closed... Where to go?? 53!!! We are from Los Angeles area and love 5 star cuisine. We were unbelievably surprised by this establishment!!! Excellent quality, phenomenal service (Brian was tip-top). First I started out with a hot drink, the IRISH was pure heaven on a 20° night. Then we had the warm salted pretzel bread which was a nice appetizer. After that the 53 winter salad, EXQUISITE. One of the best salads I've had in a long time (since Barton G's). Brian had suggested a Scottish salmon, which to be honest, I was a bit nervous about "fishyness"... I couldn't be more wrong!! The salmon was soooooo delicate and perfectly prepared. The mashed cauliflower was perfectly paired as well as the asparagus. This will be our go to when we want to have a delicious dinner and amazing service. We highly recommend 53!!!!
